Matthew's case experience

  • Settled a birth injury case where the capitalised value was in excess of ÂŁ10 million, which included large interim payments during the progress of the claim to put in place a care and therapy package for the client and enable the family to move to a property that was more suited to their needs.
  • Settled a claim for ÂŁ775,000 involving functional neurological disorder following negligent surgical treatment, leading to the claimant suffering significant effects on her ability to work and to carry out domestic and personal tasks. The case has been reported in Lawtel, which can be found here, and in a podcast here.
