Isabella is an Asbestos Paralegal in the North West Asbestos Team at Thompsons Solicitors. Primarily based in the Manchester office, she also works closely with colleagues in Liverpool. She joined the firm in April 2025, having previously worked within an NHS legal team and as a maternity receptionist.
In her role, Isabella supports Thompsons’ specialist asbestos solicitors in helping individuals diagnosed with asbestos-related diseases, including mesothelioma and asbestosis. Many of the clients she assists were exposed to asbestos decades ago while working in the North West’s extensive industrial industries. Her day-to-day responsibilities include gathering evidence, conducting thorough investigations into clients’ employment histories, and helping to progress their claims.
Isabella is passionate about building relationships with clients from the very beginning of the legal process. She understands that pursuing a legal claim can feel daunting and is committed to supporting people through what can often be a difficult and emotional time, while helping them secure the justice they deserve. Her favourite aspect of the role is visiting clients and their families in their homes, offering reassurance and support, and carrying out investigations into their often extensive and complex work histories.
Her ultimate goal is to be a friendly and approachable presence for clients and their loved ones throughout the claims process. Outside of work, Isabella enjoys reading, walking, and spending time with friends.
