Patients Before Profits: Let’s Help Sling the Mesh

Patients Before Profits: Justice for Paterson Victims

In April 2017, former breast surgeon Mr Ian Paterson was criminally convicted of multiple counts of wounding with intent at Nottingham Crown Court. During our investigations into his negligence, we exposed a number of issues surrounding private healthcare providers, and how they can, and do, shirk their responsibility when it comes to patient safety.

Small claims big impact

The government wants to raise the small claims limit from £1,000 to £5,000, leaving road crash victims without access to free legal representation.

We say road traffic accidents are not ‘small' claims - they have a big impact on people’s lives and these changes will price people out of justice. Learn more about our Small Claims, Big Impact campaign.
