Based in the Leeds office, Nicola is a partner, specialist asbestos lawyer and the firm’s regional manager for Yorkshire & Humberside.

Nicola joined Thompsons in 1999 shortly after qualifying as a solicitor, and has since worked in various management roles including managing the firm’s National Fast Track Centre and co-ordinating Thompsons’ risk and compliance department.

Nicola’s significant leadership and legal experience ensures that the teams working at Thompsons’ Leeds office deliver a client-focused service, supporting those who have been injured, discriminated against or are at risk of losing their livelihood or liberty.

Nicola’s specialism has been in industrial disease, with a particular focus on asbestos-related claims. Her personal commitment to helping those in need chimes with the firm’s central ethos of acting only for the injured, and never for defendants or employers.

Outside of work, Nicola enjoys yoga, running and going to music gigs.
