Nicola is an experienced Costs Executive based in the Manchester Office. Her work encompasses a wide range of high-value and multi-track matters, including clinical negligence, serious injury, industrial disease and employment claims. Nicola has a particular interest in costs management, playing a role in maximising costs from pre action through to detailed assessment. Nicola is also actively involved in mentoring new staff, providing guidance and support to help to develop their skills.
Following graduation, Nicola began her career at Thompsons Solicitors in the Stoke office as a legal administrator. She quickly moved into the Costs Department in 2015, initially taking on the role of Assistant Draftsman before being promoted to a senior position within the team.
Away from work, Nicola enjoys travel, live music and long walks in the Peak District near her home.
