Victoria is a Senior Costs Executive with over 30 years of experience in legal costs, specialising in high-value personal injury and clinical negligence matters. She provides expert support to Fee Earners, delivering strategic and accurate costs services to ensure full, fair recovery and compliance with all relevant procedural rules.

Victoria is highly skilled in preparing detailed and electronic Bills of Costs, Precedent H budgets, Points of Dispute, Replies, and conducting negotiations in high-value and complex cases. Her experience spans catastrophic injury, fatal accident claims, birth injury, surgical negligence, and other sensitive, high-stakes litigation, with a sharp eye for detail and a strategic mindset. She works closely with FeeEarners and Barristers to ensure that costs recovery is maximised while remaining compliant with procedural rules and costs management best practices.Whether it’s dealing with fixed costs challenges or navigating cost budgeting in multi-million-pound claims, she is known for her precision, in-depth knowledge of CPR, and practical, no-nonsense approach to securing the best results.

Prior to joining Thompsons in 2008, Victoria worked with some of the biggest names in costs, as well as being Head of Costs at a small high street firm. Victoria isa long-standing member of the National Costs Team at Thompsons, having joined in 2008.

Outside of work, Victoria likes to travel, socialising with friends, dancing, dining out, and spending time outdoors with her two dogs (Sally, a rescue bearded collie, and Jerry Springer Spaniel).

Victoria is currently a student member of the Association of Costs Lawyers, and her expected date of qualification is Summer 2026.
