As a member of the Cardiff office’s multi-track accident team, Clare handles a varied caseload of accident claims, acting on behalf of clients who have sustained in work injuries in accidents and assaults as well as public liability and road traffic accidents. She specialises in cases involving orthopaedic and psychiatric injuries.
Clare provides first-class support and representation to Thompsons’ injured clients and is proud of the firm’s pledge to only act on their behalf. She finds helping clients through the trauma of making a claim and ensuring they get the best compensation possible to be the most rewarding aspect of her job.
In her spare time, Clare enjoys walking, swimming and reading.
Workplace assault: Clare acted for a special needs teaching assistant who sustained injuries after being assaulted by a student. The employer had failed to act despite her informing them of violent threats made to her by the student. As a result of the assault she suffered injuries to her neck and back, as well as psychological trauma, and eventually left her job. Clare was able to secure significant compensation for the client after a three-and-a-half-year legal battle and two days in court.

“From the very outset, I found that Thompsons Solicitors are the most caring and helpful legal team I could have wished for. I was guided in clear terms as to how to proceed and they were with me each step of the way. I found that nothing was too much trouble for Clare Nash and the Team (Cardiff), and I received a response each and every time I had a query, no matter how trivial it may have seemed. A very professional service to say the least and my utmost and unlimited thanks for a successful outcome,” – a PCS member.
