Fiona is an experienced member of the Personal Injury Pre-Litigation Department. She is committed on finding success for those who have suffered injury as a result of negligence. Fiona’s expertise involves but are not limited to, Road Traffic Accidents, Public Liability, Employment Liability, Prison Officer Assaults, and various claims which are associated with the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority.
Fiona is an up and coming Junior Lawyer, currently undergoing her final academics via the SQE route to achieve the qualified Solicitor status. During this, she will continue on pursuit through Personal Injury and achieving settlements for those who are victim to unfortunate injuries.
Case Experience
- Employment Liability Claim: Fiona pursued a claim of personal injury. The allegations were that the employee suffered with an electrocution due to a small heater plugged nearby the wall, and at the time the Claimant went to unplug the heater from the extension cable where the plug exploded in her hand. Fiona secured damages of £12,000.
- Public Liability Claim: Fiona pursued a claim of personal injury, following a claim where the claimant was browsing in a carpet shop and fell onto the floor due to wheels protruding out from a rack. She suffered with multiple injuries: soft tissue bruising to the big toe, right elbow fracture, low back and shoulder pain and bruising to her knees. Fiona secured damages of £7,000.
