An experienced and professional senior personal injury solicitor, Lindsey supervises the road traffic accident and personal injury teams of lawyers, working out of Thompsons Solicitors' Sheffield office.
With 45 lawyers handling thousands of fast-track cases throughout England and Wales at any one time, Lindsey prides herself in providing the best possible client care, delivering the most efficient and effective service and gaining the maximum amount of compensation in the shortest time possible.
Lindsey’s teams handle claims for personal injury suffered in accidents at work, for example slipping or tripping, faulty machinery or equipment, or in road traffic accidents. Typical cases include claims for injuries caused to soft tissue, to the eyes, the neck, back, knees, scarring, burns, crush injuries, lacerations, broken bones, fractures, psychological damage or dental and facial injuries. Compensation secured ranges from £1,000 to £25,000 and covers public and employers liability.
Lindsey is ambitious for her teams to deliver the best possible service to their clients, with excellent client care and an effective and efficient conclusion to claims. She sets high standards, is constantly monitoring quality, delivery and performance and reviews the firm’s processes to make sure they are up-to-date and fit for purpose.
With 11 years’ experience of successfully handling personal injury cases, Lindsey specialised in claims for road traffic accidents, taking them through from instruction to litigation. Now, she uses her skills to support her teams of lawyers and their managers, taking over claims only if they are difficult or complex.
As well as ensuring optimum case management performance of her four teams, Lindsey takes a lead in working with all the key medical agencies on behalf of the Sheffield office. Her aim being to maintain good relationships, and to identify and progress any improvements that are needed for the effective running of the cases. Problems or complaints will be investigated by Lindsey, who uses her diplomatic skills to resolve them.
Lindsey is involved with the selection and recruitment of Thompsons’ executives and in training, supporting and mentoring them. She is responsible for ensuring their continuing professional development, that their knowledge of changes in the law, the gathering of evidence, and any other changes in practice is current.
As well as ensuring optimum case management performance of her teams, Lindsey is the firm’s Sheffield Medical Agency Rep, working with all the key medical agencies to maintain good relationships to identify and progress any improvements that are needed for the effective running of the cases. Problems or complaints will be investigated and sorted out by Lindsey, who uses her diplomatic skills to resolve them.
Lindsey finds it rewarding that Thompsons puts its clients at the very heart of its business and is proud that the firm is constantly campaigning through parliament or in public events for positive changes to make work and workplaces safer. she feels that Thompsons is unlike other firms she has worked for, where profits come first and there is less emphasis on client care.
In her spare time, Lindsey likes to spend time with her husband, two little girls and friends and walking with her two dogs.
