Robert Lawton has over 15 years’ experience dealing with Personal Injury claims, including road traffic accidents, assaults, accidents at work and public liability claims.
He is based in Bristol, within the Multi-Track Accident team, dealing with claims across the South West and Wales. He runs a full case load with settlement value between £25,000 and £250,000. He has experience dealing with significant injuries, such as orthopaedic injuries or psychiatric injuries.
Robert’s aim is to ensure that those individuals who have suffered significant injuries and losses are represented in a way that ensures they get back proper compensation for what they have been through and lost.

Heginbotham -v- Network Rail
The Claimant was an employee of Network Rail, employed as a Mainline Operative Manager, a job which involved some pilotman work. During a gale the Claimant was getting off the train when the wind caught him blowing him sideways and causing a fractured wrist. The Claimant succeeded at trial and was awarded £22,000.
Merzouk v Uddin
The Claimant was a trade union member (RMT). He was knocked off of his bicycle on his way to work, suffering a wedge fracture to the spine. His injuries ultimately prevented him from continuing with his employment with Transport for London. His case settled for £175,000.00
