Becky is a regional managing partner for the firm’s Nottingham office, where she is responsible for the overall delivery of legal services by a team of over 40.
Becky qualified as a barrister in 2005 but, by then, she had spent five years working in the evenings for a national bank. Although initially working in criminal law when she was called to the bar, Becky moved swiftly into personal injury work and, like Thompsons who she joined in the firms’ centenary year in 2021, has only ever acted for injured people (and never insurers) since.
After learning of the importance of staff development while working during her studies, Becky has focussed on the career development of colleagues, while working her way up to operations director at her previous employer. After years in senior management, she has a wealth of experience in delivering first-class services to clients through considerate people management and training. Becky believes that the motto she has followed throughout her career of ‘do the right thing and be kind’ has guided her well to the benefit of injured clients.
Away from work, Becky is close to her sister and her children, goes to the gym for boxing and combat classes and enjoys walking her dog, Jed.
