Senior solicitor Janet is part of the Thompsons Solicitors’ serious injury team and handles cases across Yorkshire and Humberside.
Based at Thompsons’ Leeds office, Janet specialises in brain injury, amputation injury and chronic regional pain syndrome cases.
For more than 30 years, Janet has acted exclusively on behalf of injured parties and uses this experience to provide first class representation for her claimants, whose cases often involve road traffic accidents, employer's liability or public liability.
Approachable and down-to-earth, Janet’s main goal is to ensure clients obtain effective rehabilitation and maximum compensation as quickly as possible.
Janet is the treasurer of Headway Leeds, a charity which aims to help support, rebuild and improve the lives of acquired brain injury survivors and their families. She is also a committee member of the South Yorkshire branch of the UK Acquired Brain Injury Forum, which promotes the understanding of brain injury by raising awareness through education and information.
Janet enjoys working at Thompsons because the firm shares her determination to fight the client’s corner and persevere for the best outcome.
