Asad is a Solicitor based in Thompsons Solicitors’ Liverpool office, working within the Settlement Agreement team. He joined Thompsons in May 2022 and, following a brief period away from the team, returned because he particularly enjoyed the work and working with the team.
He advises trade union members on settlement agreements, helping them understand the terms and effect of an agreement and ensuring they are clear about their options before making a decision.
Prior to joining Thompsons, and during his time there, he has advised on a wide range of employment matters, including unfair dismissal, redundancy, discrimination and unlawful deductions.
What Asad enjoys the most about his current role is being able to provide clear, straightforward advice and support members through what can often be an important and uncertain time in their working lives.
