Thompsons Solicitors employees are getting into the festive spirit by donating Christmas presents to Bristol Evening Post’s Christmas Toy Appeal.

Staff from Thompsons’ Bristol office are buying presents and donating them to the paper’s appeal instead of running the office’s usual secret Santa.

The presents will be given to families of underprivileged youngsters in the area.

Around 40 staff at Thompsons are taking part in the kind hearted gesture.

Michelle Cronin, branch manager at Thompsons Solicitors Bristol said: “When we heard about The Evening Post’s Christmas Toy Appeal we knew that as an office we could offer our support. Every year staff run a secret Santa but it made sense to instead buy gifts for local children whose families may not otherwise be able to afford them.

“We hope our donations will help make Christmas a special day for children in the area who might otherwise have received nothing.”

The Bristol Evening Post’s Christmas Toy Appeal is running alongside the Lord Mayor of Bristol’s Children’s Appeal which is raising funds for families of underprivileged youngsters.
