The claimant had to open and close clamps while making moulds for plastic lids. Sometimes he would do this 1,000 times a day. When closing the clamp he would bang the handle with the heel of his hand. This caused carpal tunnel syndrome.
We have previously had a successful trial about how difficult trampolines are to put away.
The claimant was a care assistant at an old persons home. While taking food out of a hot food trolley, she burned her arm. The plates were stacked at the back of the trolley and she was using a tea towel to take them out.
