Jeeva’s client was an engineering technician who developed a severe skin condition from contact with chemical components during the manufacture of pharmaceutical products. He developed a sensitivity to the chemicals which meant he could not work with them again which affected his future employability. Jeeva recovered £25,000 on behalf of his client.
Sinonasal cancer because of wood dust
The client in this case contracted sinonasal cancer years after he retired, as a result of prolonged exposure to wood dust whilst employed in a wood work machine shop run by a council. Jeeva recovered £4,000 for his client.
Photographer exposed to chemicals
