Joy is a Senior Supervisor within the Ex-Portal Fast Track Team based in the Dagenham office.
Supporting the Team Manager, Joy provides supervision and guidance to the team to enable proactive and efficient progression of fast-track ex-portal personal injury claims, both pre-issue and throughout the litigation process.
The team handles personal injury cases for the members of many unions, their friends and family.
Joy was admitted as a Fellow to the Institute of Legal Executives in 2004 and has worked within a legal environment for over 30 years. Joy joined Thompsons in May 2019 as a litigator and was quickly promoted to Supervisor and then again to Senior Supervisor.
Joy spends most of her spare time looking after her pony, Rambo and her dogs Phoebe, Marley and Luna.
Joy has vast experience of both handling and supervising fast-track personal injury claims, spanning over many years. She has also worked as a litigator in counter-fraud. This has provided her with valuable insight as to how Defendants strategise. Such knowledge and understanding can be utilised to facilitate the best possible outcome.
