KATIE’S CASE EXPERIENCE
Accident at work claim: Katie’s client suffered serious crush injuries to his feet and psychological trauma when he was run over by a fork lift truck at work. Although liability was admitted the defendant disputed the extent of the future need for care, therapy and accommodation. Katie secured £700,000 for her client at a joint settlement meeting.
Accident at work claim: Katie’s client suffered psychological trauma when she was confronted by a patient whilst working alone in her office at work. The extent of the injuries were such that she was unable to continue in employment. The employer disputed the extent of the injuries, the need for future treatment and her future earning capacity. The case settled before trial and Katie secured £325,000 for her client.
Katie’s former client said: “I was very grateful for your service and would recommend you to anybody that is in the same position as I was. The service I received was excellent and I thank you very much and thank god for people like you.”
Another of Katie’s former clients said: “I just wanted to drop you a line to thank you for all your work in bringing my litigation to a close. I was shell shocked at the conclusion on the day and the full implications didn’t sink in. I am now beginning to realise that the settlement is going to afford myself and my wife the opportunity to plan for the future and just have some fun.”
