Our client was the front rider on a tandem bike. He was rounding a sharp bend on a country road when he came off outside a farm. This was due to a lot of muck - maybe mud, manure or silage, which had spread from the property onto the road.
The Claimant is a train driver who was walking along railway lines inspecting a locomotive that another driver was due to drive later that night. His accident happened after midnight and it was completely dark.
The Council had a central drop off point for all hospital roll cages in Nottingham. When full the drop off area would have about 200 cages.
