Thompsons Solicitors has established a dedicated clinical negligence team in its Manchester office
Thompsons Solicitors has expanded its clinical negligence team with the creation of a specialist medical negligence unit at its Manchester office. This comes in response to an increase in the number of medical negligence cases the firm has seen in the north west of England.
The team, which will be led by the joint head of the medical negligence team at Thompsons Solicitors, Linda Millband, is made up of highly-skilled legal professionals with experience in all types of clinical negligence cases, ranging from cancer misdiagnosis and spinal injuries, to surgical error and cerebral palsy.
Linda Millband said: “We pride ourselves on giving our clients a personal service which includes visiting people in their home if we can. Where we have specialists we group them together so they can work together and provide that one to one service with the backing of a team around them.
“Victims of clinical negligence can suffer devastating and life-changing injuries making it challenging not only for the victim but for their family and friends. Not adding to that stress is key which is why, in an often complex field where cases require a lot of investigation, having a specialist on your side is key.
“Thompsons refuse on principle to act for insurers and that commitment applies to the specialist clinical negligence team now in the North West. We would urge anyone who may have been affected by medical negligence to speak to one of our specialist solicitors who will be able to advise on what course of action to take next.”
