In July 2016, at just 17 years old, Joseph was involved in a severe industrial accident at a factory in Washington. An electrical cabinet, weighing approximately a quarter of a tonne, fell on him, causing a traumatic head injury. The injuries Joseph sustained have left a lasting impact on his eyesight, taste, hearing, balance, and speech. Despite these challenges, he set his sights on rebuilding his life, turning to his newfound passion for comic books.
