Paul is a specialist asbestos solicitor, with more than 20 years’ experience dedicated to claiming on behalf of those exposed to asbestos and their families. Having identified the field in which he wanted to specialise, Paul developed an asbestos-focused team within a law firm, before setting up his own legal practice. The firm was specifically dedicated to acting for asbestos sufferers. In his career, he has helped over 500 individuals who have suffered from asbestos-related conditions, such as mesothelioma, asbestosis, pleural thickening and asbestos-related lung cancer.
Paul represents clients and bereaved families in London and the South East, and works closely with the London Asbestos Support Awareness Group.
Paul, who supervises, trains and mentors colleagues within his team, is known for achieving the best possible outcomes and maximum compensation for his clients, working in a tenacious, determined and expedient manner.
Outside of work, Paul is a keen follower of the varied fortunes of Harlequins Rugby Club and Queen’s Park Rangers Football Club. He enjoys keeping fit and is studying for a Master’s degree.
Paul's case experience
- Secured damages following a three-day High Court trial for a client suffering with mesothelioma as a result of working in hospital as a cleaner. Paul organised for a private ambulance to bring the claimant to court to give evidence in person.
- Recovered damages for the family of a deceased client who had been diagnosed with mesothelioma, despite the employer having ceased trading. Paul made the claim against the occupier of the premises where his client had been exposed.
- Secured a settlement for a the step-daughter of a school caretaker who developed mesothelioma after helping her mother clean her step-father's clothes, which contained asbestos dust as a result of working in the school's boiler house.
