Amy qualified as a solicitor in February 2026 and is now based in our Cardiff office within the Employment Rights team.
She originally joined Thompsons in May 2024 as a trainee solicitor, having completed her law degree and LPC at the University of South Wales. Amy is also a fluent Welsh speaker.
Amy was drawn to Thompsons because of its deep‑rooted commitment to the trade union movement and its dedication to achieving justice in the workplace. She is passionate about supporting working people who have been mistreated and believes strongly in the ability of the law to challenge inequality and secure fair outcomes.
Outside of work, Amy enjoys horse riding and travelling.
