LOUISE’S CASE EXPERIENCE
Injury at work claim: Louise’s client sustained a hand injury at work after a mechanism to fold a tail lift came away during use. The defendant denied liability, however Louise secured a favourable settlement within weeks of the trial date being set.
Psychological injury claim: After a large amount of steel fell within yards of where Louise’s client was standing he suffered a psychological injury. His employer denied liability, court proceedings were commenced and a settlement secured.
Louise’s former client said: “Thanks to Louise Atkinson and Thompsons Solicitors for all the hard work you have done for me over the last three years. Louise explained everything, either face to face or by letters, keeping me informed at all times and listening when I had questions to ask.”
Another of Louise’s former clients said: “Louise was very helpful dealing with my case, as I was sensitive to discussing my injury in the beginning stages. Good use of communication methods as I live further than the base, so we could still communicate via email and phone calls. Although I wouldn't want to experience another accident at work, I would definitely recommend to others. Massive thank you again!”
